Folsom City Manager Elaine Andersen announced today that Stacey Tamagni has been named the City of Folsom finance director.
Tamagni will be responsible for managing the city’s annual budget, financial reporting, treasury, utility billing, accounts payable, payroll, and information systems functions.
“Stacey is a talented, seasoned, and poised professional who has a wealth of experience in accounting and budgeting at the local level,” said City Manager Elaine Andersen. “Stacey’s strong finance background, understanding of complex budgets, leadership skills, and institutional knowledge makes her the perfect fit for this position.”
Stacey holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a minor in economics from California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Tamagni has spent the last 14 years with the City of Folsom as a senior analyst for the finance department and public works department. Since joining the city, she has overseen the annual financial reporting process and earned numerous awards for excellence in the city’s accounting and financial reporting practices.
“I am honored to be given the responsibility of leading the City of Folsom Finance Department and the opportunity to continue using my expertise to maintain the sound, responsible fiscal management that Folsom has always known,” said Tamagni.
